Are you looking for a smaller walking group where you don't have to queue for ages to climb a stile or squeeze through a kissing gate? Where you don't have to keep up with the fastest, where you can take your dog and stop occasionally to admire wild flowers? Walks where you have time to watch birds, take photographs, chat to someone or walk on in silence - just as you please! White Rose Walking group welcome anybody who is eager to explore the footpaths around Pickering and the Ryedale area or to venture further afield in the Wolds, Dales or Lakes. There are also weekend walks and short walking holidays with one or two night stays. There is no charge except when the minibus is used. email: pickeringwalks@yahoo.co.uk
