A PICKERING FOREST HERITAGE SITE

Because of the inquisitiveness of two small brothers, in a most intriguing area just north of Pickering, all kinds of field finds have been retrieved. So that the story of this farm can be told,  Richard Harrison (now retired) will be telling his family story of picking up flints, bones, broken pots and bits of mosaic and much else. This has led him onto exploring the  archives of the Duchy of Lancaster and visiting Roman ruins in Italy.

This will be held on Thursday March 11th at 7.30pm in the  Beckett Room, Memorial Hall and has been arranged by Heritage Group of Civic Society.
