Ryedale Walking Group

7pm    -     All walks meet at  Pickering Pool for car share unless otherwise stated. Car sharing and the use of public transport are encouraged. All walkers are asked to bring spare shoes if accepting lifts. If you do require a lift please contact either Nigel or Martin in advance. Please ring either Nigel or Martin if you prefer to meet at the start of the walk rather than at Pickering Pool car park. Please note that all distances are approximate. The annual fee of £3 is due in January. All walkers are expected to wear walking boots and suitable clothing and bring their own food and drink when necessary. Walkers are responsible for their own health and safety.

White Rose Walks

Are you looking for a smaller walking group where you don't have to queue for ages to climb a stile or squeeze through a kissing gate? Where you don't have to keep up with the fastest, where you can take your dog and stop occasionally to admire wild flowers? Walks where you have time to watch birds, take photographs, chat to someone or walk on in silence - just as you please! White Rose Walking group welcome anybody who is eager to explore the footpaths around Pickering and the Ryedale area or to venture further afield in the Wolds, Dales or Lakes. There are also weekend walks and short walking holidays with one or two night stays. There is no charge except when the minibus is used.
