Beck Isle Pageant

                Beck Isle would like to say a very big thank you to all the people, volunteers and groups alike, for the help in making our first ever Pageant such a huge success!

                The weather held out, food and stories were bountiful, and laughter rang out amongst the crowds!

                Tanya and her medieval tales kept young and old alike intrigued and thrilled and John with his menacing Knights Templar costume had the youngsters spellbound for hours!

                We had Kites flying all over the town and children getting sticky with paint and glue in the castle building and peg doll making sessions.

                Crafts of old were demonstrated all day with the Blacksmiths hammer and the printers patter constantly in the background!

                Pickering Musical society, The Ploughstotts, Scouts and our own volunteers made it a day we will never forget and also one we intend to repeat! Brilliant.
